This release expands iDrive TMS carrier coverage with a new GLS direct integration and streamlines shipping with one-call rate and label generation through the public API, and a new Clone Shipment action. It also includes multiple bug fixes across rating, carrier display behavior, and Shipment History performance.
New Features & Enhancements
- GLS Direct Integration
Added GLS as a fully integrated carrier for rating, label generation (single and multi-package), tracking, and voiding. Rates use your client-specific GLS rates with full surcharge support. GLS currently supports domestic Priority Ground within a defined ZIP code range. - One-Call Label & Rate via Public API
API users can now rate and generate a label simultaneously. When a label request is submitted without a prior rate quote, the system automatically requests a rate on your tenant’s behalf and returns the rate details, label, tracking number, and freight cost in a single response. If no valid rate is available, the API returns a clear error and no label or charges are created. - Clone a Shipment
Save time on repeat shipments with the new Clone Shipment action in Shipment Details. Cloning creates a new, editable shipment pre-filled with the original shipper, recipient, package, and item details, without copying the original label, tracking, rates, or charges. Currently available for domestic, single-package shipments.
Bug Fixes
- Rating Accuracy
Fixed minor USPS Ground Advantage sub-pound rounding issue. Corrected DoorDash sub-pound rounding to the next whole ounce. Resolved DHL eCommerce Parcel Plus errors. Addresses with "unit" in line 1 are no longer misclassified as PO Boxes. - Carrier Integrations
Resolved GLS Direct rate requests returning 500 errors. Corrected UPS international third-party billing so the payment country now matches the billing account, preventing carrier rejections. - Tracking & Status
Tracking number links in Shipment History now correctly route to carrier tracking pages for SpeedX, DoorDash, and OnTrac shipments. Previously, these links pointed to invalid iDrive URLs. - UI & Display
Voided shipments in Shipment History now show the correct styling and red "Voided" tag. Dimensions and SKU columns in multi-package shipments truncate with a "+X more" indicator to keep columns on-screen. Shipment History loads faster for large tenants. The client/tenant dropdown for manual shipments now sorts alphabetically. Manifest history fixes include functional Created date sorting, accurate package and shipment counts, and refreshed data when switching shipping site tabs.
