May 1, 2026 - Release Notes

This release expands carrier coverage with new direct integrations for DHL eCommerce and DoorDash, providing greater shipping flexibility. It also introduces manual shipment creation in the TMS without a corresponding WMS order, along with added visibility through a Zone column and carrier account nicknames on rate drop downs. In addition, this release resolves a broad set of issues affecting rating accuracy, billing, user workflows, and carrier-specific behavior.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Create Manual Shipments in the UI
Users can now create a shipment directly within the TMS without needing a corresponding order in the WMS. This unlocks ad-hoc shipping workflows for situations where an order doesn't already exist in your warehouse system.
  • DHL eCommerce Direct Integration
Added DHL eCommerce as a fully supported direct carrier. Customers can now rate, generate domestic and international labels (with customs documentation), void labels, create return labels, send end-of-day manifests, and receive real-time tracking webhooks. Hazmat support is also included for the approved classes of dangerous goods.
  • DoorDash Integration
Added DoorDash as a new carrier option, including rating, label generation, and tracking webhooks. DoorDash shipments using the DoorDash Parcel service level are now fully supported across the TMS.
  • BYOC UPS Order Reference on Carrier Invoices
For Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) UPS shipments, your order reference field now passes through to UPS and appears on your UPS carrier invoice. This makes it significantly easier to reconcile UPS invoices against your own order data.
  • Carrier Account Nickname on Rate Cards
Rate drop down menu on the Shipping and Shipment History pages now display the carrier account source as a third line beneath the carrier name and service level. iDrive-managed accounts show an "iDrive Logistics" badge, and BYOC accounts display the nickname you've set, making it easy to distinguish between iDrive rates and your own carrier accounts at a glance.
  • Zone Column on Shipment History
Added a Zone column to the Shipment History table, positioned to the right of the Destination column. The column displays the calculated zone for supported carriers, giving you faster visibility into rating context without needing to drill into each shipment. The Zone column is currently supported only for domestic shipments and is not available for UPS or Amazon shipments at this time.
  • Tracking Number on Shipment Detail Page
For manual shipments, the tracking number now automatically populates on the Shipment Detail page after a label is printed, eliminating the need to re-enter the order ID to retrieve it.
  • Strengthened API Security
Reinforced access protection on protected API endpoints to better safeguard sensitive data.

Bug Fixes

  • Rating Accuracy
Resolved multiple carrier rating issues, including sub-pound rounding errors, UPS BYOC vs. iDrive-managed discrepancies, missing SpeedX Ground rates, and USPS Direct First Class rating, and improved handling of carriers available via both EasyPost and direct integrations.
  • Home Overview and Carrier Performance Data Improvements
Resolved missing shipments on the home page so its data now aligns with the Shipment History table, and updated the Shipment History client filter to list all child clients for larger customers. Also resolved an issue where obsolete records were not being cleaned out of the carrier performance summary.
  • Tracking & Status
Improved how the system handles duplicate tracking events from carrier webhooks (notably Amazon), reducing log noise without affecting tracking behavior.
