Limited Hazmat Support in iDrive TMS
iDrive TMS supports limited hazmat shipping for consumer goods, including small lithium batteries and items under “Limited Quantity.” This article outlines supported materials, carrier and WMS compatibility, field requirements, and labeling rules.
Overview
iDrive TMS supports limited hazmat shipping to help 3PLs and brands ship common consumer goods that fall under “Limited Quantity” or include small lithium batteries. This expands shipment capabilities without the complexity and added costs associated with fully regulated hazardous materials.
The iDrive TMS limits the supported dangerous goods shipments to ground-only service levels and a select list of carriers. These limitations simplify compliance and ensures there are no carrier hazmat surcharges.
Supported WMS: Bluebox, Extensiv, ShipStation
Supported Carriers: Amazon, USPS, FedEx, DHL eCommerce
