July 28, 2026 - Release Notes

This release adds webhook subscriptions for real-time tracking notifications, expands international compliance for EU de minimis and Puerto Rico shipments, and improves rate-shopping accuracy with new weight and hazmat validation guardrails plus fixes to UPS/FedEx rating, DHL Express labels, and shipment manifests.

New Features & Enhancements

  • New iDrive Tracking Webhooks Now Available in the API
Register and manage your own webhook endpoints to receive real-time tracking event notifications. You can configure subscriptions by endpoint, choose which event types to receive, pause or resume delivery, and use a unique signing secret for each subscription to verify that webhook deliveries came from iDrive.
  • Added EU De Minimis Compliance for International Carriers
Added the new EU B2C data requirements — including product identifiers, business indicator details, and IOSS holder name and address — for DHL Express, FedEx, and ePost Global international shipments. For eligible EU-bound shipments valued at €150 or less, the required information now appears on both the label request and the commercial invoice.
  • Puerto Rico Shipments are Treated as Domestic Shipments
USPS shipments to Puerto Rico are now treated as domestic, so international customs information is no longer required. Labels now generate successfully without HS codes or commodity details, eliminating the manual workaround that was previously needed.
  • Automatic Phone Number Normalization
Phone numbers with extensions, parentheses, dashes, or other formatting are now normalized automatically before being sent to the carrier, with a fallback to your ship-from phone when needed. Orders that previously required manual edits before import can now move through to label purchase without intervention, while the original phone value remains unchanged on the order.
  • Minimum Weight Enforcement for DHL eCommerce in Rate Shopping
Service levels are now filtered out of rate results when a package does not meet the service’s minimum weight, preventing rate shopping from returning options that would later be rejected at label purchase. This fixes the DHL eCommerce Parcel Plus issue where packages under 1 lb could be quoted but not labeled, and ineligible service requests now return a clear explanation.

Bug Fixes

  • Rating Accuracy
Corrected USPS oversized and cubic rating issues, and fixed a rate caching problem that could cause missing UPS and FedEx zone rates.
  • Various Carrier Fixes
Resolved an issue that blocked multi-package DHL Express international labels, corrected upside-down UPS SurePost PNG labels, and fixed USPS manifest generation so a voided label no longer causes the full manifest to fail.
  • Implemented Additional Hazmat Validation
Fixed an issue that allowed limited quantity dangerous goods to bypass hazmat validation without a UN number. These items are now checked for required regulatory data before label purchase.
  • Clearer Error Messages for Shipment Package Limits
Label requests exceeding the 40-package-per-shipment carrier limit now return a clear, descriptive error message identifying the limit and the number of packages submitted.
  • Reporting & Shipment History
Fixed an intermittent issue that capped Shipment History result counts at 10,000 for some date ranges. Results now display the correct total.
