July 14, 2026 - Release Notes

This release introduces DHL Express international shipping, adds limited quantity handling for hazmat shipments, and client-specific quoting in the Quick Quote Tool. It also adds a new Pre-Transit filter to Shipment History, along with fixes for manifest downloads, and international label generation.

New Features & Enhancements

  • DHL Express International Shipping
    DHL Express is now a direct carrier integration with iDrive. You can retrieve live DHL Express rates, create single- and multi-package labels with Air Waybill numbers, and automatically generate commercial invoices and customs documentation. Supported capabilities include DDP/DDU billing and signature options.
  • Quick Quote Tool: Client Selection
    You can now generate quotes for a specific client or 3PL. The quote uses the selected client's rate card, limits carrier services to those available for that client, and includes the client's name and a timestamp on the downloadable quote.
  • Hazmat Regulated-Level Codes (API)
    Shipment requests can now include a hazmat regulated-level code (FR, LR, LQ, EQ). LQ ships as standard, non-hazmat, and if no code is sent, existing hazmat behavior remains unchanged.
  • FedEx Commercial Invoices
    Commercial invoices for FedEx international shipments are now generated directly through our direct FedEx carrier integration.
  • Shipment History Filters
    We added a new Pre-Transit tab so you can quickly identify shipments that have not yet entered the carrier network. The "Ready for Pickup" tab has been renamed to "Held For Pickup" to clarify that these packages are being retained by the carrier for customer pickup, and the tab order has been updated to align with the shipment lifecycle.
  • UI Refinements
    Rate Shop cards now display a hover tooltip when a service level name is too long to show in full. On the Manifests page, the "Created" column header and date format have been aligned with the Shipping History page for consistency.

Bug Fixes

  • Manifests
    Resolved an issue that prevented manifest downloads and significantly improved Manifests page load times, which had previously taken up to 30 seconds.
  • International & Territory Labels
    Resolved an issue that caused UPS international labels to fail for postal codes containing spaces (for example, UK postal codes). Also corrected USPS label failures for APO/FPO and US territory shipments when two custom messages were included on the package.
  • Rating
    Improved the error message shown when a package exceeds the 150 lb carrier weight limit. Users now receive a clear explanation instead of a generic "no rates available" error.
  • UI & Display
    Updated the rates display card so delivery time and the iDrive logo remain visible after a label is printed on the shipping page UI. Resolved an issue where the Ship From dropdown showed only 10 shipping sites instead of the full list. Corrected the Package detail status tag to read "Pre-Transit," consistent with the Shipments page.
