April 3, 2026 - Release Notes
This release adds OnTrac as a new carrier option with iDrive-managed account support, expands rating capabilities with USPS First Class postage, and introduces several Settings page improvements including warehouse configuration and carrier account management. We also resolved a significant number of bugs across carrier setup, billing, and the overall UI experience.
New Features & Enhancements
- OnTrac Carrier Support
OnTrac is now available as a carrier within iDrive TMS, including full iDrive-managed account support. Users can connect to OnTrac directly from the carrier settings page and begin generating labels and rates. - Request a Carrier Account from iDrive
Users can now request an iDrive-managed carrier account directly from within the TMS using a new request button, streamlining the onboarding process for new carrier connections. - Carrier Account Details
The Settings area now includes a dedicated page for managing carrier accounts, giving operations teams greater control over their shipping configuration. - USPS First Class Postage Rating
USPS First Class postage is now available as a rated service, allowing users to see First Class rates when shopping for the best shipping option on lightweight packages. - Order Reference on UPS Carrier Invoices
For Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) accounts, the order reference field is now passed to UPS so it appears on your carrier invoice, making reconciliation easier. - Third-Party Billing Improvements
The system now provides clear, actionable error messages when an invalid postal code is used on third-party billed shipments. This helps prevent scenarios where some carriers require a valid ZIP code while others accept any value but still charge your account if the ZIP code is incorrect. In addition, iDrive TMS now automatically maps the third-party billing account ZIP code from Extensiv on import, reducing manual entry and billing errors. - Residential/Commercial Address Tag
The Ship To address component now displays a residential or commercial tag, giving users clear visibility into how the destination address is classified before shipping. - Shipment Tracking — Delivery Date
The Shipment Details tracker now displays the date delivered, giving users a clear confirmation of when a shipment was completed.
Bug Fixes
- Return Labels Utilizing the UPS Carrier
UPS return labels no longer fail when a company name is missing from the shipment record in the iDrive TMS (UI). - Rating Accuracy
Improved some inconsistent FedEx Home Delivery rates to properly apply the Delivery Area Surcharge (DAS). Fixed a rounding issue affecting USPS cubic rate calculations, ensuring accurate rate quotes for cubic-priced shipments. - Billing & Invoicing
Fixed issues where Client Invoice PDFs and the Client Invoices screen were displaying 3PL rates instead of marked-up amounts. Resolved a markup calculation error that occurred on specific days of the week, and restored missing client records in the Billing Portal. - Labels for Hazmat Shipments
The label endpoint now correctly validates item weight and rejects negative values for hazmat shipments.
